Thorough Presentations Covering A Host Of Different Legal And Non-Legal Topics

As lawyers, we constantly seek to improve our knowledge about a given subject. We want to know how to do things better so that when we take on a case, we have the understanding that we need to quickly diagnose an issue and develop an approach that yields positive results. Continuing legal education courses (CLEs) are one way that we stay informed of current legal trends.

My name is Larry J. Cohen, and over the past 20 years, I have given presentations across the country covering a variety of topics, including legal and non-legal issues. I have taught over 500 CLEs on more than 35 different legal issues.

In my past courses, I have presented to other attorneys, professionals, academics, lay persons, insurance companies, businesses, government entities, risk managers and other interest groups about the issues that are most important to them. I offer hands-on learning experiences for those taking part in my classes, making sure that participants are actively involved and learning throughout the process.

I have received numerous accolades for my courses, including awards from the Maricopa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of New Mexico for excellence in continuing legal education. I also earned the President's Award from the State Bar of Arizona for efforts in teaching ethics to attorneys, and I have earned awards from Arizona Psychological Association for my work with psychologists.

Topics that I have covered in the past include:

  • CLEs (Continuing Legal Education classes) that discuss attorney ethics
  • Seminars that discuss the psychological impact of brain injuries
  • Discussions about effective pre-trial and trial preparation, including expert witness preparation
  • Presentations covering the intersection between law, medicine and psychology

I travel across the country to give CLEs and other presentations because I love to teach. I want to share the knowledge that I have gained over the past 25-plus years of practice. I know that I can help other attorneys improve the lives of their clients.

My rates for speaking depend upon the specific type of presentation requested. My fees are negotiable, and consideration will be given to the resources available to the sponsor who is seeking the presentation.
